Information collected through analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, an analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how the site is read. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as:

• The URLs you visit, when you visit them, how long you stay, and how you move between pages
• Where you arrived from (search engine, referring site, social network)
• Browser type and version, operating system, screen size, and device category
• An approximate location (country or region level) derived from your IP address
• A random per-browser identifier used to tell first-time visits apart from return visits

This is aggregate information and does not directly identify you. Google Analytics 4 uses your IP address to estimate an approximate location but does not store the IP address itself in reports.

Information recorded when serving the site

This site is served from infrastructure operated by Vercel Inc. To deliver pages and guard against abuse, request details such as IP address, user agent, and requested path are recorded temporarily in Vercel's access logs.

• To protect the site from abuse and excessive traffic

This site carries no advertising, and the information collected is not used for advertising or targeting on this site. How Google itself handles information collected through Google Analytics is governed by Google's own policies.

How to turn analytics off

Installing Google's browser add-on below stops data being sent to Google Analytics on every site, not just this one. It has to be installed per browser.

Information collected is never sold or handed to third parties without your consent. Running the site does, however, rely on the following providers, each of which handles information under its own policies.

• Google LLC — analytics (Google Analytics 4). Handling is governed by Google's privacy policy.
• Vercel Inc. — hosting and delivery of this site. Access logs are processed on Vercel's infrastructure.

Where there is a legitimate reason to do so — for example a lawful disclosure request — information may be disclosed to the extent required.

Information accumulated in Google Analytics expires automatically according to the data-retention period configured in the Google Analytics admin settings. The hosting provider's access logs are discarded after a limited period under its own operational policy. This site does not separately accumulate or store any of this information itself.

• You can refuse or delete cookies from your browser settings.
• You can stop data being sent to Google Analytics with the opt-out add-on linked above.
• To ask what information has been collected about your use of this site, or to have it deleted, email rammaru.ito@gmail.com. Note that this site's analytics data is aggregate and does not identify individuals, so it may not be possible to isolate or delete a specific person's records.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and personal data is not knowingly collected from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact rammaru.ito@gmail.com and it will be deleted promptly.

If material changes are made to this policy, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of this site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

This policy is governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from or related to this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
